Your Guide to Getting Started with your Hydro by Hubble Contacts

Hydro by Hubble's innovative flat packs are not only super slim and convenient, but they also lower the risk of contaminating your lenses. When opened correctly, the lenses should be face down, allowing you to only touch the outer surface for a more hygienic experience.

Follow these steps to make sure you open your contacts correctly every time

Before anything else, remember to always wash your hands before handling lenses.

STEP 1: Separate the Lens Pack

You’ll find a number of sleeves inside the plastic case. Each sleeve contains 3 individual lenses. Use the perforated seam to tear one lens pack off completely before opening.

STEP 2: Keep the Color Side Up

Your lens packs will come in a variety of colors - blue, pink, yellow. Make sure to hold the pack with the color side up.

STEP 3: Peel Apart the Pack

Turn the side with the open, separated flaps towards you and peel back the top of the lens pack. Pull it away from you completely, so that it’s not covering any of the white plastic bed on which the contact lens is sitting.

STEP 4: Pinch the Lens

Hold the pack as horizontally as possible. Gently pinch the lens with your thumb and pointer finger to remove it from the white plastic bed.

STEP 5: Take a Closer Look

Allow the lens to sit facing up on your pointer finger. Check to make sure the lens isn't damaged before inserting it into your eye.
